Karen Perdue

Karen began her accounting career at Babcock Management and Holding, Inc. in January 1999 as an accounts payable clerk. Babcock Management and Holding (which later changed its name to W.D. Management, LLC) is a management company for the non-profit Alternative Opportunities, which is a social services corporation that works with state agencies to provide support services to at-risk youth as well as individuals with developmental disabilities or drug dependencies. While at W.D., Karen transitioned from accounts payable clerk to accounts receivable clerk to accounts receivable supervisor. As accounts receivable supervisor, she oversaw all accounts receivable transactions, past due accounts, and reconciliations for three states. Included in her duties was verifying revenue for financial statements, overseeing daily deposits, and the invoicing and collection of past due accounts. She joined JMARK in January 2012 as controller. Included in controller duties is the oversight of daily admin tasks, supervision of the admin team, and producing monthly financial statements. The controller position also works closely with the service and sales departments to ensure the flow of information needed to invoice the customer is timely and accurate as well as provide for the needs of the employees.
