Kristin never set out to work in tech. As a matter of fact, she says, she did not even give it a thought. “Logically, technology would be the complete opposite to my love of people, right?” she says. She has always completely enjoyed being around people, helping people, and talking to people; and she has a natural curiosity about the human condition. But, “Funny thing,” she says, “’People’ are exactly what brought me to JMARK.” The more she understood the culture that drives the organization, the more intrigued she became. “People First, Technology Second” was not the mission statement when she started with JMARK five years ago, but that dedication to people still drove the company culture. She says, “At the end of every piece of technology is a person, and as a JMARK client relationship manager, it is my pleasure to be a client technology advocate every day.”
Her experiences at JMARK has shown her the importance of the relationship between people, as well as between people and technology is in today’s world. From her start as a business development specialist to technology plan development, and now as CRM to the Healthcare and Professional Services support team, she has had the privilege of wearing many hats at JMARK and intends to continue growing through positive experiences with people and technology.
