PROBLEM: Too many I.T. issues for me to handle.
Each of the shareholders in our small CPA firm wears a lot of hats, both for ourselves and our clients. For me, one of those hats was overseeing the firm’s I.T. support personnel. Due to the nature of our business, we have a lot of different software that needs attention, not to mention the hardware to support it. Originally, we had engaged JMARK on a break/fix model, meaning that we would try to solve I.T. issues on our own, and then if it was too difficult to solve, JMARK became involved. As we continued to grow, that responsibility began to consume more and more of my time.
SOLUTION: We hired JMARK to be our I.T. partner.
We were meeting with our support team at JMARK and the idea of ongoing maintenance and support was presented. As all small business owners do, we kept saying, “We can’t afford that…” A year later we couldn’t afford not to do that. We found that engaging the JMARK team has freed up a lot of our staff’s time, now that they are not having to deal with the I.T. issues that come up in our office. The standard response now is, “Have you called JMARK? If not, why?” Now JMARK gets to wear the many hats of I.T. … and they wear a lot! We have a great relationship with JMARK. Whether it’s Tom, Kristin, Jeremy, Jeff, or the service team we work with, they all take pride in their relationship with us, as well as in providing the best possible solutions for us.
OUTCOME: Success! Personal attention, and they get to wear the many hats of I.T. so I can focus on my real job. JMARK is a true partner who takes care of us.
As with any relationship, there are moments when the end goal isn’t as you wished, but the JMARK team is always willing to make it right and anxious to learn from the experience. They truly focus on the people first and the technology stuff second. And they are really good at both! We have absolute trust in them to take care of our I.T. needs. We have referred them to many of our clients that are experiencing the same I.T. challenges, and have always heard good reports.
