TECHNICAL:
Network Engineer

This individual will design, deploy, maintain, monitor and support network infrastructure related activities for clients. The individual will primarily support Cisco networking devices, but will also be required to design, configure and troubleshoot a much wider variety of networking devices and applications.
Successful candidates will possess ALL of the following:
• 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent education and experience.
• CCENT minimum, CCNA or better preferred.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Experience with a wide variety of security products, firewalls and web filters a plus.
• Continuing education is a requirement. Networking related industry certifications as required by the
department director, and available personal time to study and excel in these certification paths.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Windows based networks and related infrastructures.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to focus and succeed in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent documentation, troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• 24x7 on-call availability (rotation based).

Systems Administrator Level III

This individual will design, deploy, maintain, monitor and support server infrastructure-related activities for clients. The Systems Administrator Level III must have experience reconfiguring systems (hardware, software, file systems), work closely with other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the client organization.
Successful candidates will possess the following:
• 5 years of system administration experience on MS Windows platforms.
• MCSE 2003 or MCITP strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IP networks and routing protocols.
• Knowledge of DNS troubleshooting.
• Advanced technical knowledge of these offerings, including Windows Server 2003, 2008 and R2,
Windows 7, Windows XP, Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, Active Directory, SQL, Backup Exec, and Linux.
• Strong technical knowledge of VMWare ESX, VMWare Server and Virtual Center.
• Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards including Storage
Area Networks.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, performance monitoring and development.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Ability to document in detail the steps taken to solve technical tasks.

• Experience day-to-day administration of a Windows Server 2003 or 2008 Active Directory network, or
experience working as an IT consultant for small and medium business
• Microsoft Exchange Server backend and client support experience a plus
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Ability to effectively and efficiently work alone and as part of a team
• Continuing education is a requirement. MCITP Server Administrator or willingness to achieve that
certification within first 12 months of employment. Recertification and additional certifications as
required by the department director
• Customer Service, providing technical support remotely, via telephone and in the field as required by
the department manager
• Reliable transportation to travel to and from work, and occasionally to customer sites
• Willingness to provide courteous, personal service to end users regardless of technical ability or
company title
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability and willingness to produce and publish detailed, step-by-step documentation on technical
procedures

Successful candidates will possess the following:
• Ability to effectively and efficiently work alone and as part of a team
• Continuing education is a requirement. Windows 7 or willingness to achieve that certification within
first 12 months of employment. Recertification and additional certifications as required by the
department director
• Customer Service, providing technical support remotely, via telephone and in the field as required by
the department manager

Backup Technician

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performance analysis, proactive troubleshooting and capacity planning for the storage environment.
- Responsible for architecture, design and engineering for storage and backup related initiatives.
- Manage online data backups, local backups and the overall execution of retention policies.
- Ensure documentation of entire storage and backup environment and data replication relationships are current.
- Provide instructions and guidance on best practices to clients and other team members.
- Responsible for designing and engineering a stable and efficient network infrastructure as it relates to Backups.
Backup Responsibility:
The Storage& Backup Engineer will be involved in architecting and designing the overall Storage and Backup infrastructure. This person will be responsible for managing and reporting the status of the storage and backup environment including performance, capacity, availability, failure rates, and other performance metrics. Working closely with the leads and server team, the engineer will define the architecture, tools and processes driving a dramatic increase in efficiency and optimization of backup resources.
Experience Required:
- Must have1+ years of storage and backup experience
- Ideal candidates will have working knowledge of Windows server administration; along with experience with ntbackup and scripting
- 2+ years of Symantec Backup Exec or equivalent experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices and trends in the Backup & Storage space
- Working technical experience with designing, building, installing, configuring, and supporting backup environments and management software.
- Experience supporting multiple backup solutions on one network
